My psone screen is comepletely not working! help!

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

Check your wires to the screen, keeping a close watch on polarity. make sure that you've got the video hooked up too :P
I've blown lots of these screens. Just a fact of life. Modding is not easy and death will abound. I've heard that a user has gone through tens of Gamecubes before getting the hang of wiring properly.

Have you done this? Not sure if this is going to work out but this is the method for another forum.

I actually took it apart now and it has an opposite problem. LOL. Screen works, but backlight is out. The inverter connections have been lifted and it looks like it cracked.

I guess I have to find a replacement or can I get around this?

I thought there were issues with brightness? Or am I mistaken?
