Ribbon Cables on Outpost.com

OR you could call up a local computer shop (the same place that has 1/4" size 6 screws), ask if they have any ribbon cables for cheap. And Goodwill/Value Villiage almost always has old computers for under $20, which you can then hack into peices for more portables!

I would advise against buying computer parts at Radio Shack.

Thanks, I think I will just take apart my pc. I can always buy a new cable.

Or maybe I will buy some new 72 pin off of ebay.

not something to buy on e-bay....why do people do that, i need something small i'll buy it off e-bay no matter who has them....sorry not a good day.

go to pricewatch.com...spend $3 mabe on a cable and just be done with it....pretty simple

scsi cables (the bigger ide like ones) would make a neater (as in clean) apearance but cost more

This would be a good time to start working towards a spare parts bin.

I suggest dumpster diving.
