Anyone know where I ca get this for less than £60 used in the uk ?

It is not worth buying these days, unless you really want a paper reference. There is better, more up to date information on this forum, and the book has some serious errors in some of the projects, ones that will result in non-working portables.

Correct. I would just browse the console list on the forums and pick one to do. I would start off with a NES or SNES just to get your feet wet then branch out after that. The NES is basically bullet proof and would be hard to mess up.

I do however find it easier to read books than off forums. But thanks for the heads up !!!

You cant ask a book for help, nor is it updateable. Also bad for the environment if it is not recycled :wink:

I still have the book (got it for Christmas about 2 years ago), but haven't built anything yet.
