1. slim this board and the main N64 board down
2. wire them together
3. throw them into a super small portable that no longer needs an awkward cart slot sticking out the back
4. ????
5. Profit?
I am expecting almost everyone who is ordering this to make it that way...

I guess it is a competition now who can make the smallest and the best :wink:
The N64 thread will most likely be filled with new portables in the works...

I still have to finish my Pn64 based from Marshalls L64 :mrgreen:

I ordered a PAL one.

quick question.

If i run an ntsc rom super smash bros on my pal system will it run at 60fps?
because pal super smash only runs at 50fps, so is the fps determined by the rom or the n64?

It will run at 60hz but produce PAL colors. This is called PAL60 and most PAL tvs should support it.

Oh question marshal.

If I swapped the CIC out and put in a pal CIC would the cart emulator work in a pal n64?

I just read on the 64drive site that it'll support microSD but there is no update of this on the official thread?

"Storage

64Mbytes (512Mbit) SDRAM
CompactFlash memory card slot (up to 128GB)
MicroSD memory card slot (up to 32GB)"
Taken from http://64drive.retroactive.be/features.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

thewise1, you can buy one without a CIC in it and solder in a PAL or NTSC one in it and it'll work.
Just choose that option in the drop down list on this page http://64drive.retroactive.be/purchase.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I dreamed I got my 64drive last night... It came in a blister pack, and for some reason it had a screen on it. At the moment I opened the blister, a pokemon video appeared on it :shock: Maybe I somewhat mixed the Wii U in my dream.

Skinnable background... just drop a 640x480 JPG on the card, it does the rest

I've been wondering, if I tried to play say, a majoras mask rom through this, but on a system without an expansion pak, would it work? My guess would be no, but I was wondering what would happen if I tried.
