why doesn't anyone make a n64 portable w/ a DPAD?

Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

Because the D-Pad was rarely used on the N64, so to save room and time many people just leave it out.

not really, just remember there is a reason nintendo put it on the third prong of the trident controller design, they knew it wouldnt be used much. also you probably wont notice it when you are done. Josh.

it also requires soldering directly to the board, not wires, which most people don't want to do.

Seriously man. You are getting to be worse than RETarded and Corky (DONT ASK!). Pool all you questions, and post them in one thread.

Now before somebody stats a new thread to ask why I said this, it's because Ben pays a few hundred dollars for bandwidth usage, and if we have to go into more than one thread, it uses up a lot more bandwidth.

Someone said earlier that since you've been reading this forum for years, you should have the answers to all (if not most) of the questions you are asking. I agree with whoever said that.

nos_slived is right in that you should try to organize your questions so that it is more convenient for the people who read them and for Ben's $$. If you any simple questions use the search button at the top of the screen. It's very helpful.

That was me. :)
Really, if he has been reading here for years, he ought to know better than to make a jillion topics asking questions that everyone has answered many times before. I think his sig must be lying, or he just wants to annoy us.
