I do not know where to find it or what it is at all PLEASE HELP! THANKS! :D

THANKS a lot! but it still doesnt answer my question about how to make the screen use less power like in step 8 of the website, Which I really want to do!

You remove the original backlight and put in LEDs. Is that what you are not understanding?

actually no, here is the quote from extreme tech: "8. On the top of the main motherboard for the screen, you'll find a long transformer with six leads—two on one end, four on the other. Desolder all these leads to remove the transformer and kill the inverter circuit. This will avoid accidental shocks and also help to save power." I do not know what a transformer is. :( sorry for my noobness.

its a device that transfers electrical energy from one circuit to another read more about it in wikipedia here you go http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transformer
