snes controller autofire mod

Post by Bämbööri »

so what i basically want to do is installing a switch on the controller for autofire on/off.

since im a total noob at anything regarding resistance etc, the only way i could come up with would be to make a little spinning wheel inside the controller :P

somebody got a better plan/tut?

also, for which buttons does it make the most sense to get autofire? (i dont play anything except the super gameboy lately)

It's called "turbo" in retro... well pre-xbox360 time. But to the point.

You could use 555 timer chip.

Just type 555 in Google and there's plenty of info about that.
In datasheet, there's some example circuits, their perfectly fine.

I remember that i made some strobolight with it, the same circuit suists to this too.

now only the question about which buttons need autofire is left... would a/b/x/y be enough?
