Where are you seeing it for that price? All I see it for is $14.99 @ 25% off
It was a one day sale, its 25% off for the whole sale.
BF BC2 is $6.80 again

Just picked it up for myself.
Hahaha, I just saw it and bought it right away, and then I came here to let everyone know, but it looks like you've done that already

Got Bad Company 2 today, glad I was too cheap to get it at $15 and waited. 8) Wish I'd brought my gaming laptop to my grandparents' house. I think I'm pretty much done buying games this sale unless Dirt 2 goes on sale. I can stay busy with the games I have now for quite a while.

Is that Super Meat Boy game any good on its own merits, or is it just another overhyped "OMG RETRO 8 BIT (even though it has colors and effects of a 1996 arcade game) INDIE GAEM"? (As a benchmark, I didn't see why Braid was such hot poop.)

I hate that game more than any game I have ever hated before. It's fun, but jesus I'm terrible at it.

Anyone else notice really really slow download times on steam lately?

I usually DL at like 500kb-1mb/s

Now its like downloading at likle 50kb/s.

EDIT: As I was typing this, it jumped to 400kb/s and then now it went to nothing? HL2 just says 32%. Its not paused, but has no speed indication.

Grr, steam. Work correctly.

Nothings wrong on my end.

Their servers get raped at this time of year because everyone is buying and downloading games. I've gotten up to 5.8 MBps on Steams servers but only managed to get about 700 KBps today. It was worse a few days ago.

Yeah, I normally pull like 2mbps from them and I'm currently getting 400kbps

You people complaining about your 400k/sec download rates should stop whining... I have to deal with our 1.7 MB DSL (at 40 bucks a month no less!) downloading everything at a maximum rate of 180k/sec. :x Do you know how long it takes for 10 gigs of Dirt 2 to download at that rate?! (Damn long. That's how long. And it had to download up hill both ways in the snow and we LIKED IT that way!)

I know the feeling man. We only have 1.5mb High Speed Cable Internet out here. And like you, were playing like $30 to $40 a moths for it.

I've had worse in the past though. Try downloading Half Life 2: Lost Coast over 64k cable internet.

I wasn't doing bad on the 23rd downloading about 30GB worth of games, I was getting around 1MB/s on my 8mbps connection. Now I'm waiting anxiously for today's sales.

The new sales just started.

None of the "best selling" prices changed. Which means: BF2 = $6.80 still

EDIT: Nevermind. They changed it back.

Left 4 Dead 2 is now only $6.79, so if you don't already have it, you definitely shouldn't wait any longer at this price :D
