Hi,
I love the N64 portable you built, and it was actually the first system I ever played in my younger years. I would be very interested in paying you to build one, since I am to busy to get around to doing it myself. Is there an estimate you can give me? This is just too awesome to pass up. Let me know. Thanks.

I think he's saying if someone wants to commission another Darth 64, he'll build it for $700, not that he'll just be building one for fun.

I'm blown away by this. And here I was thinking about using a Dreamcast Controller to try and fit in a Pico-ITX mobo in an attempt to get a mini-portable MAME controller. The Lazer Doodle looks perferct!

I've never done epoxy modelling and I'd love to have a couple of pointers from anyone please:

- I know there are different types of epoxies to use depending on the plastic casing on which it is being applied however for the Lazer Doodle which one would you use?
- How did the molding for the extra buttons and joystick/d-pad get worked out? The original casing is set out differently which means filling those holes in and recutting new ones. Is there a technique to this and special tools? Or is the Dremel the best-fit?
- How did the cool raised edges around the d-pad and joystick get worked? Is that cutting and sanding a block of hardened epoxy?

Cheers for any answers!

Sorry if I'm bumping this, I don't know when it was created, but where did you get the screen? I can only find them for about $50 :(
