GP2X Caanoo (Does MAME, etc)

Post by HotDog-Cart »

Hey guys.

Anyone hear about this? The GP2X Caanoo?
http://www.thinkgeek.com/electronics/retro-gaming/e5ef/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It seems to be an updated version of the Wiz.
It has an analog stick, bigger screen, MAME support, etc.

Specs:
CPU - ARM9 533MHz (overclockable to 800MHz), H/W 3D Accelerator
# LCD - 3.5" QVGA OLED Touch Screen
# RAM - 128MB
# Expansion Port - SD/SDHC
# O/S - Linux
# USB - 2.0 High Speed

Any thoughts?

I already have the Dingoo and the Wiz, but have been thinkin about this.

Yeah, it's been out for a little bit... I dunno, it's essentially a Wiz with an analog stick and double the RAM. I think the interesting thing is it's release has dropped the Wiz itself to $99 at ThinkGeek. Pretty much a steal, imo. :)
