Looking for portable media player

hey, as the subject says, im looking for a portable media player that is small, compact, and it would be nice if it could play videos, though i highly doubt that i will watch videos on it

it could be any kind as long its storage capacity is large; i guess im looking for the largest (in terms of storage space for music, pics etc...) media player out there

if there is something out there that is an ipod nano or something, reply with a link pls

also, whats up with these "5th generation" nano's, are the generation nano's better or are they older versions

maybe an ipod nano would do for me; anybody got links, tips, etc....

i don't care if it can play videos, as i will probably go blind by looking at a screen so up close and small

You should take a look at the archos 5 internet tablet. It's kind of buggy but if your looking for large storage the archos 5 internet tablet goes all the way up to 500gb and plays almost any video format under the sun. I have the 160gb version and it's great for watching videos. I plan to open it up and put a 500gb hard drive in later since the hard drive is really cheap.

if you can post some pics of it, then maybe, but for now, i can't use my card, as i had to drain half of the paycheck money that went into it, and the amount it took to pre-order Halo: Reach (l337 >:]) left my card with $0.50

maybe if you show me some pics, but for now, could someone please tell me what the 5th- something generation ipod nano's are

also, i don't want one that could play videos, because ill save videos for my desktop

Ill pm you some pics. 30gb can hold alllllooottt of music. The new nanos are stupid, and most of the nanos have low capacity and break easy. I also have a 4gb mini, but the video is a better choice.

have you looked at the Augen "The Book" ebook reader? its dirt cheap $99 used sdhc cards and views AVI and MP4.

Also theres a few portable dvd players that have SD slots, they arent as compatable as the augen but if you do not mind the extra effort they are nice and have even bigger screens.

Oh yeah, sorry. And yes, it works with iTunes. I also have two cases and a brand new pair of headphones.
