Problem with PSone screen: No color, no audio.

hi
well i was building my n64p, when i proved the screen, it doesn't showed any color, the image just was on black and white. Besides that, it don't have audio. I proved the screen on the psone console. the console is working fine, i have proved the console on the Tv, and have audio and colors. So the problem is on the lcd screen. how can i repair it? or it means that my screen is dead.

Where did you get the screen and what region do you live in? NTSC or PAL?

i get it from a guy on mercadolibre.com.mx (a web like ebay). and im from Mexico so it is NTSC

I think our friend might be suggesting that somebody sold you a PAL screen. Im not sure how it would behave on the wrong type of console... If I designed it, it wouldn't fit - but that's just me.

Aside from that... is the volume on the screen turned up? did it ever work?

the screen is ntsc, and yes, it had color and the sound was exelent before it damaged.

JEJE , ok, lo que pasa esque no sabia que habia gente ke comparta la lengua en este foro, pero muy bien, gracias. por cierto de casualidad tu no sabes como puedo reparar mi lcd. de repente se quedo sin colores ni audio.

Well the screen is working very well, i don't know what happend but when i plug in the screen on the PSone, it don't have color and audio. When i plug in the screen on the n64 board it works very very well. so i think i can continue with the project.
