So I scavenged a 7" TFT Panel from an old broken Korean portable DVD player and was wondering if anyone could help me on this (seeing how I don't know anything about LCDs).
I still have the all the internal parts and marked all the ports and corresponding ribbon cable. Is there anyway that i could hook up this screen as a secondary monitor on my laptop? I know that it is very small but I have an idea. Thanks for you help.
Well actually, you could use it as a monitor I think.
If the controller board for the screen has video input, you could buy a VGA to composite video converter and then run that into the video in. Or buy an Svideo to composite cord, and run svideo from your PC, into the screen.
