How does 32 AA batteries make 6 volts. Also on a sorta same note you can get 36 AA batteries from home depot for $14. The cheapest I have found and they are energizer.
That's Hacking Awsome

If you hook up a few series of AAs in parallel, that can give you 6V. With that many AAs, the MAhs would be insane. The battery would last FOREVER.

Just don't get a "Heavy Duty" one, because they come with those crappy batteries that last an hour in a flashlight. :P

Do they make rechargeable NiMh lantern batteries? I thought I saw some at Wally World yesterday.

Not all of them have AAs in them, some have 4 long D-diameter batteries in them. You could probably squeeze the case to tell if it has AAs or Ds.

Do they sell non-heavy-duty lantern batteries? I would imagine that if they did, they would cost like $30 and this would not really save anyone any money.

You know how to really save money on batteries? Rechargeables.

The people who made that clip, Gag Films, also did something where they opened up a car battery to reveal hundreds of AA batteries...
