Daddy got a new chair

Post by Bobzilla »

It's official. I bartered a Home Depot gift card for a Kobalt hydraulic chair from Lowe's.. What are mom's for?? BARTERING!!

Now I'm livin' large, ridin' high, and no longer placing my buttocks on my kids' Step2 (tm) play table.. I mean.. It's a table.. not even a chair.. I've been sitting on a 2 foot table for a chair.. I honestly ask myself why I have back problems? I just got outta the hospital for a herniated disc one week ago.. I must be the stupidest man alive.. No matter.. NEW CHAIR!!! ROCK!!!

I just have a 25-year-old office chair I got for free and refurbished with new cushion foam. It looks like something from the 80s. Still rolls like new, even if it does squeak a bit.

This is now the "What do you sit on" thread. :P (And no, "my butt" doesn't count as a response. You thought you were being clever didn't you.)

My current chair sucks balls. Every 3 days another bolt falls out of it, you have to slam it on the ground to make it move up/down, and it clunks loud enough to wake up my neighbors when I sit down in it (And no, I'm not a fatass)

Just a cheapo 'student desk chair' here. I really should upgrade this at some point...

I have 4 chairs to choose from. My new simmons recliner I got after got tax money, my akrocker I got for my birthday a few years ago. or either of my other rocker chairs that have speakers built in. One came from goodwill for $5. The other was free. A friend got it brand new for his birthday and did not like it so he gave it to me. It is okay though a little big for me. I think I might take the speakers out of it and use them in my arcade cabinet.
That's Hacking Awsome

Either a cheap foldable wood chair when I'm on my desktop, or a cushy-type chair thing or my bed for when I'm on my laptop. I don't use the desktop much, because of it's crappy chair and it's downstairs. But I'm using now because the wireless card in my laptop stopped working. :/

My workbench is weird. It's to tall for a normal chair but too short for a stool. I often stand, bending over my work. Good thing in a couple months I'll be at college and can get a good work desk!
I have nothing clever to say here. Sorry.

I've got 2 chairs....one is an amazing super comfy rocking/recliner I got a garage sale for 15 bucks (best 15 bucks I've ever spent!) and my compy chair is just a simple wooden table chair...got it for free out of a junk stack :)

@Triton: Wow, that desk looks an awful lot like mine 8)
