Sorry. I meant it's not going to be top loaded, and I need to cut the hole so you can open the drive.

Woot! 12V and 5V connectors!
Are you gonna split the power/inverter board and actually run it directly off of the 12v and 5v from the Xbox power supply?

Do you have a tutorial of how/where to split the board you could send me?

Nah. I couldn't figure out a way to cut it which would save me space. So I left it intact.
As for a tutorial, the best I can give you is this, about halfway through. LCD power boards are different, so I couldn't tell you where to cut.

It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man.

That's a really bad pun for a 360 laptop.

Looking good so far!

Fight MS Paint abominations! If you don't have a camera, go here, and pick something 3 megapixels or higher.

You can kinda see it on the first picture; there's black screen door type screen under the top piece.
And yes. Bad pun indeed.

Went to a local plastics store and bought 2' x 4' sheets of expanded pvc (sintra, komatex, etc) in 1/4" and 1/8" inch thickness. Then I just used a table saw and a dremel basically.
