to do: led mod the screen, connect the controller, add speakers, add start select L and R buttons, touch up the case... a lot and get batteries.

Looks like a bondo monster thew up on a couple chunks of plastic. Needs sanding, other then that looks good so far.

haha yeah, I need to get a heavier sandpaper sometime. I tried sanding it with fine grit, but it was taking a really long time.

i hope you arent filling all those big gaps with bondo, cause its just going to crack and fall apart if thats the case! bondo is not a structural material.

I'm going to start back up on this, so what should I be using as a structural material? Do I have to scrap the front of the case?

My ps1 screen has been through a lot since I last posted. The screen might be cracked, and the power plug came off of it, so I can't test it to find out. Can anyone link me to a picture of where to apply voltage? I'm just afraid of reversing the polarity and frying it. I'm sure it's in the stickies, so I'll look for it myself in the meantime.

Epoxies stand the test of time and have zero shrinkage. Definitely structurally stable stuff! Bondo is more for minor spot filling as lots of it will shrink and crack.
