I used the mayflash cable, its the chepaest one from amazon :P, ive heard bad thigns about the v digi cable.

As i said in the video i also broke the relay that switched between ac and battery power, as it turns out the battery is very helpfull in weighing down the bottom half as before the screen tipped it over when loosely attached. Also i have gotten so fustrated wth this project so many times its done and im never touching it again ( apart from palying on it  ).

Awesome mod!

Did you just finish a marathon because you sound out of breath, also, it wouldn't hurt to vacuum once in a while, haha.

awesome laptop, loving the idea of hook a VGA monitor to it :)

If I portabilize my wii someday, it will be like your design.

Amazing job. I REALLY need to try and find modding projects a newbie like me can handle so I can wet my teeth on something. I really want to learn to do stuff like this!!

Quick Question: where are the GC controller and memory card ports?

Offtopic post here, sorry:
Dont start off with the GC. Its gonna be a pain, I opened it up once, jeez...
Just dont, start off with an NES like I am, and a lot of people do it too. An NES Clone makes it even easier. Have fun.

ONTOPIC!
That laptop is stunning. Love it.

unfortunately i didn't have the balls to desolder the game cube ports so as the cd drive got in the way there was no point integrating game cube functionality as i also don't own a single game cube game and i have no intention of owning any lol.
