iPad? It kinda looks like a glorified Macbook pro picture frame.

Re: It's Apple Keynote Time
Am I the only person thoroughly unimpressed? Closed OS (that, IMHO, looks kinda stupid for a tablet), limited buttons, monster bezel, portrait screen orientation (how many "tall screen" TVs have you seen?), capacitive touch (personal preference). I'm not an Apple hater, some of their stuff is really cool, but this just seems uninspired. I swear companies try to make tablets/MIDs fail.
Only thing I like is that now another company will make a Tegra or CULV C2D ION tablet with Android, Ubuntu, or win7 (if x86).

You didn't see the pic about over 125 million credit cards or something? That's why. Apple wants you to waist your money, go into debt BUT have Internet at the same time. Lol

DERP DERP DERP NEVER MIND
The angle of it in some of the pictures makes it look like there is a short one.

Re: It's Apple Keynote Time
Well, it isn't a grand, so it has that going for it, I guess. But six configurations? Really?
I'm underwhelmed. They really needed to be innovative with this, because unlike the other categories (computers, mp3 players, phones, etc), the tablet has not been successful to this point. I forgot where I saw it, but an article I read summed it up nicely: a tablet is a laptop without a keyboard, or an expensive ebook reader with poor battery life, or a portable media player that can't fit in a pocket. It is a niche market.
Unless there's something I'm not seeing, or they haven't yet revealed, I think we may be seeing the next Apple TV.

I thought the same thing everyone else already said: it looks like the "giant old-person tv remote" version of an Ipod.

Re: It's Apple Keynote Time
I hate how everyone says it's just a big ipod touch.
Different processor.
different OS (somewhat.)
more capabilities
Etc.
It's NOT the same thing.
The large bezel is nice because it gives you a place to hold it without touching the touchscreen.
I like the thing a lot.
Vskid, the screen has no orientation.
It is meant to be used either way.
Definitely getting one.

It doesn't do flash. retarded.
I only stand using the iphone's internet because it's convenient to whip out where ever I am. I still need to pull out my laptop periodically because I can't see most videos and certain pages don't display. If it can't even improve on this, I'd rather pay $500 for a cheap laptop that can do more.
