So I have an HP VS17E. I have removed the power supply portion and it no runs on my atx power supply. I want to put it in my pelican type case with a wii and 360. I have the 360 bit done, and running off of the power supply, and hardwired to the vga port. Everything is great there. Now the wii I understand doesn't have vga capabilities. But I'm trying to understand why I can't just hardwire it to the monitors pcb. If the monitor pcb is converting analog to digital isn't there someway to hook the wii up as the analog source that it's converting.
I just saw a hack on someone making a psone screen accept vga signals, I feel like I should be able to do the same thing but in reverse. I know I can just buy a transcoder scaler thing, but I feel like I have the parts in front of me and just need to be told what and how to use them.
Any advice? Or any links on making something that will help me.
is it possible to hardwire to lcd pcb for inputs??
