FunCast: the ultimate portable...

Post by gaming4souls »

I am here to make the best portable that mankind has ever seen but i need help.

one thing i need help with is finding an accurate battery source for my portable.
and i will also need to know how to desolder the pins for the power source on the mboard.

Screen: 5 inch RCA lcd color pocket tv with video input and is 12v. i will use an anti glare removal technique to get rid of that dullness.

June 23, 09: just took everything out of its cases and stuff. need to desolder some points on the mobo, but im making progress.

June 24, 09: Just did some desoldering an i think this is an end of this mod. without a wiring diagram i cant do anything and nobody has posted how to relocate stuff...

Try using desoldering wick/braid if that doesn't work use a desoldering iron, both are available at radioshack. The desoldering iron is good, but sometimes it can pull up extra things like traces.
SNESP WIP
Case - 50%
acquired parts - 90%
assembly - 0%

super bumps galore

I just don't like dead threads, I like them to continue. So this project is abandoned? :(

From Rules 6.0
2. Do not bring up very old topics. Dusting off an old thread is only acceptable under a few conditions; if you have something new and intelligent to add to a previously discussed topic, it's fine to bump the topic for discussion. However, if you're only making a comment without contributing anything to the topic at hand, then it's best to leave it alone. It's tough to define "old", especially for forums that don't get much traffic, but as a general rule of thumb, it's best to leave threads alone after they've fallen back a couple pages.

Really? There's a bunch more on the forum for you to bump months after the actual project has ceased or slowed to a crawl with no progress being made if you feel the need to boost your post count for some reason. If there has been no progress in over 6 months, it's probably safe to say that it's dead whether you like it or not.
