Simple SNES IC question

Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

When wiring a controller using a 520B (Original SNES controller IC) do you need any resistors on the tact switches?

you need 16 10k-ohm, 1/4 watt resistors. :wink:

That's for using two 4021s. Not for using one discontinued original 520B (THe IC in the original SNES controllers).

yep, the ground trace and the cord wires are on the back :)
