So I have been seeing a lot of threads in this forum about people complaining about their 360 RRODing. Yet there is no definitive (that I've seen) thread dedicated to the RROD fix. What I want to know is what ones have YOU done and which were successful.
The Towel Trick. Never done it, heard too many bad things about it.
I personally went out an bought 2 jacked up 360s and tried both the Xclamp repair and the case through Xclamp repair and neither worked. I followed the tutorial that GmerChik or what ever her name was to a T and still got nothing.
Now what has everyone else done?

RROD can be caused basically by A) Xclamps (stress when hot) B) capacitors (because they resist some of the energie.) or C) The DVD drive (Ya I know)
I have done the Xclamp fix on about 3 Xboxs, and it worked on them all. So Im banking with the XClamp fix. Didn't read the one from this site, but il have a look at it and see if it's the same.
P.S when Doing the XClamp fix, Don't do the part where it says "L3AVE dA Bocks on for 15 m1n to 0verHeat" USE A HEATGUN ON THE CLAMPS!.
