can you mod one of the gameboys into an actual home video game console (controller ports,AV OUT,AC IN,relocated cart slot,power on/off,reset,ect)?
and if you could,what would the cost be?

You can mod a GBA to do this, and it can also be used for GameBoy color games and original GameBoy games.


Depending on how many tried it takes you, and if you break anything, between $40 and $100.

Search on amazon.com for the "GBA TV Converter". They are really, really hard to get working without video glitches, and I wish I could suggest a better route, but that is currently your only choice. You could try finding the GBA Transverter, but that company was sued to death years ago, finding a transverter is somewhere near impossible.

If you just want to play GBO games, buy the Super Gameboy cart for the SNES.

Ya The GBP is probably at gamestop. I got mine for only $9.99 two months ago.
