It runs off of 12v DC. I was going to test the minimum voltage requirement today, but I ran out of time before my school's electronic lab closed.
I need me a good ol' variable power supply!

I used to have one of these screen and they are the best screens I have ever seen!Deck wrote:hmm, this would make for a pretty humungo portable, ya?

When I had one, I got it to run off of 7.2v and it worked perfectly! It can also run off of 12v.
If you want to check out the image quality then check this thread.

Awesome! There is a lot of empty space inside of it, so you could pack that thing with batteries. I saw your mod a while ago, but I didn't realize it was the same exact Mad Catz screen!
The S-video is noticably better quality than the composite. I've tried it out where I have S-video plugged in, then plug in the composite, and the video quality drops.

I'd be sooooo tempted at this if money weren't so short. Are you willing to accept any trades?

It depends on what you have to trade.snowpenguin wrote:I'd be sooooo tempted at this if money weren't so short. Are you willing to accept any trades?

Limpport, hmmmm. Happen to be interested in any DS games, wii games, a DreamCast with composite jacks mounted with a controller and several games, um. That's all I have to offer really, I guess.
And of course unless you wanted all that it would probably be partial trade partial cash.

I have a white ds lite, in good condition, but the top screen ribbon cable broke, so it will need a new top screen.

The only thing I am looking for with trades is the SNES portion of a Retro Duo or FC Twin. Thanks though.
