Hey Heckers hope this finds you modding. I'm chuck Bittner handicapper gamer. I started a petition for custom button layouts/remapping to be added to modern game consoles. I'd love your support, I know Ben has helped the Handicapped before and I'm sure you guys would like reMapping also. The general response is WHY ISN'T THIS ALREADY STANDERED... here is to hoping.

I hate it when easy to implement features are left out of games. I rarely change the controller layout, but the option is nice, especially for those who need it.

who are you submitting this to? I doubt you will be able to get all developers to do this. it's easyer in terms of scriptng to just have the attack button be "x". Lazy-ness will always prevail.

I feel this is directed mainly at console manufactures... they should take charge of reMapping. So DEVz don't need to QA test it.

I can appreciate the ides, but I am pretty sure that there has never been an e-petition that actually got something done (Like, really, I cannot think of a single one).

If you want to have a good shot, you will need a petition with actual signatures, and it will need to be directed at a specific person or department inside the company you are targeting.

Don't get me wrong, I totally side with you, and I really hope you get somewhere! But I really think that this is something that would have far greater impact if it was a "real" petition. Maybe this is something we could get people to sign at ComiCon, MGC, Anime Expo and the like? I would totally support getting as many people to sign as I could.
