See that + and - area that says charge and load ?
The charger _ and - hook up there and the Ps2 and monitor + and - hook up there.
Well technically the PS2 and monitor hook up to the voltage regulators and then the voltage regulators hook up there.

oh ok
what watt should i use for the batteries when soldering ?
and i thought i only needed the voltage regulator for the ps2 to run through.

Re: Ps2 laptop...yes i know another one
Well the screen runs at a max of 8.0v I think, so you need to lower your volts for it also.
What watts for a soldering iron. I'm not sure as I have a soldering station with variable temperature settings. I guess a 25 watt or 40 watt would be fine.
@raizer04 -- Yea the voltage regulator is taking the power from the batteries (pcb) and converting it to what you need and then going to the screen and PS2. But you need your switch in there somewhere.

No my bad. Put the regulator after the battery Pcb but before the switch. Then the switch power goes to the Ps2/screen.Raizer04 wrote:
You mean another switch besides the gray one (upper right hand corner) within the pic i posted? And if so where?

Same spots the battery pcb + and - went to. Just put the regulator between the Pcb and the switch.Raizer04 wrote:hailrazer wrote:No my bad. Put the regulator after the battery Pcb but before the switch. Then the switch power goes to the Ps2/screen.Raizer04 wrote:

Hmm...ok, which spot on the switch would the voltage regulator + and - be connected to?

In our case ground is the negative side of the battery.

Re: Ps2 laptop...yes i know another one
depends. changing voltage is easy. but i think limpport was selling a screen that would be good for this. course, it depends how big you want it to be.Takoon4 wrote:so for the lcd monitor what should i do since it runs at 12v ?
