Definitely #2.

In the first one, the poofy part on the end of the hat make it look like he's wearing a read beanie and has a weird eyeball.

I need to get a new avatar as there is too many penguins to santa-ize, tried last year and didn't even get a 1/4 of them done. Guess it's time for a new avatar anyhow if it's been about a year with it haha
