FS: PSOne portable WIP
Hello- before trying to ebay, I thought I would offer this here. I started putting this together back when Ben's book came out, but have since been busy w/ other stuff. I am attaching a pic of (2) other projects I successfully completed, as an example of my capabilities. This Psone comes w/ everything in the pics, and is all the major stuff. There will be however small things probably missing- the little hardware things, as it's been so long since I worked on this, I can't recall- I just want to make sure you know that 100% off all parts won't be here, but I do guarentee that ALL the major parts are here, as can probably be seen in the pics. The PSX is ofcourse the mainboard from the tiny PSOne unit, and has a Stealth modchip connected to it. Everything works 100%. The PSone screen has the led mod as described in the book, and is essentially ready to go and completed. I had all parts professionally laser cut, which cost a small fortune, but looks perfect. As you can see, a good percentage of this project has been completed. In the plastic packages, are a good number of the hardware parts- springs, washers, etc as described in the book, so there is probably more parts here than I think. Heck, if you get to be the owner of this, and you find you are missing a certain something, just fire me an email, and I'll see if I don't have the part somewhere else in my stuff. The silver cover is custom printed on a silver metallic film, and looks dynamite! All the holes on the film were also computer cut- not by hand. I am also throwing in a copy of Ben's book. Any questions, just ask, and I'll do my best to answer. I really don't know what this is worth, but am open to all offers. Would rather sell outright than go through ebay. Like Ben, I too am located in Wisconsin. If you want to check some info on me, my Ebay account is also epayrob w/ includes over 400 pos. feedbacks w/ 0 negs. Feel free to post here, or email me directly:

still selling?
How do we know that the Insane are really insane? What i mean is that the Sane could just be controlled little minds never knowing the truth, when the Insane always know the truth and why. KrauftrolledRe: FS: PSOne portable WIP
Still for sale, and quite frankly, I am shocked at $150 this doesn't sell. I have way more invested in it, and that's just parts. Incase I didn't make it clear, this project follows the exact steps described in bens book, so it's not like your picking up a project I started from my own plans, etc. Just open up Bens book(comes with this project) and finish where I left off. C'mon guy's- a good deal.

Re: FS: PSOne portable WIP
Which one are you selling? The big round screen one or the other one above it?

The two portables in the last picture aren't what he's selling. He's just showing them to let us know that he's done a successful job with two other projects, so there shouldn't be anything wrong with what he's done so far in the incomplete project that he IS selling.SNESthebest wrote:Which one are you selling? Personally, I think it's a real good price ESPECIALLY since his case was cut with a CNC machine. I'd buy it, but I'm strapped for cash (and building it is part of the fun!)

Ah, that helps.
Yep, i'd get it too but i'm pretty poor right now seeing as I already bought a original gameboy and atari and such earlier these past 3 months.
