Well, remember some basic electronic principles:

In a series circuit, loads (your batteries) share opposing polarities (positive to negative, positive to negative, positive to negative). Add the voltages together. Same Currents all around

In a parallel circuit, loads share like polarities on a branch (positive to positive to positive, and negative to negative to negative). Add the currents together. Same Voltage all around

So, how I hooked it up... is it correct? I want to hook it up in series, I am not completely sure how the PCB works, so this is my guess for hooking up positive to negative, and so on. Thanks!

Looks correct to me based off of what hail posted, I don't know if that schematic he posted is right, but if it is, that's how you wire it.

Yes that is correct. I used the same pcb and wiring with my Dreamtrooper.

Of course it's easier to wire the batteries together and then just run one wire to each spot on the pcb.

Awesome! I just got them hooked up, and charging. And since the charging solder pads are the same for outputting power, do I need to hook up a switch to switch between charging and output?

Your switch for powering the console? If that's what you're talking about, the switch would go between P+ and your PicoPSU.

This might be the most n00biest question I have ever asked, but I do not know how to wire my switch. Do I take the hot wire of P+ and attach it to the middle leg, then take the ground wire of the picoPSU, and attach it to one of the outside legs?

No you solder the positive wire leaving the batteries to one side of the switch. Then the other side of the switch is wired to the power in on the pico psu.

When you turn on the switch it allows the power to go from the battery to the Pico Psu which turns on the Dcp.

Use a meter to see which legs on the switch close when you turn it on. Then you can use either one of those legs for each connection.

Got batteries hooked up to screen along with the switch, it works fine! I just need to find a lighter so I can heat shrink my connections, then I will hook up the Dreamcast as well, but I can't do it today, since I have a halloween party at my house, so I needed to clean up my stuff :D Anyway... my project seems to be going well, and as soon as I get everything secured and am sure no wires will short each other, I'll post some pics, I promise :) Thanks for all the help everyone has given me! Especially you Hailrazer :P Thanks!

Hi everybody! I promised to make a video, and put pics, I didn't take pics, but I did put up a video of what I have so far!

I didn't have the sound hooked up because the wire fell out, but it's all good, I'll reconnect it. Thanks for everyone's support!

Guys... I don't know what to use for a case for my portable... I was gonna use a Lazer Doodle like Hail, since it's a proven design and it looks good, but I just lost the bid on Ebay who bidded last second, and I lost... these things are really hard to find and now I am upset lol. Anyway...what else could I use?

You should make your own case. Grab some HIS or ABS, make a cheap table (a flat wooden board with a 1 1/2 in hole in the center), with a 3hp vac. You'll feel better knowing you its your own style.
