FC Twin no Longer Responding to any controller inputs

Well I originally bought a FC Twin off someone on these boarda quite a while back, and the SNES part already had problems with the controller, but the NES portion of the system worked 100%.

But I just recently started playing the system again, and was playing SMB 3, got halfway through the game, didn't want to lose my progress, so I left the system on all night, next morning I try to unpause it, and it wouldn't. I unhook the Cheap controller it came with and Plugged in a SNES controller, still nothing, Reset the system, nothing.

Wondering if anyone know anyway to fix this problem.

id say open it up and look for any loose wires and take some pics so we can look at it too
