Honestly, I didn't really read any of this thread, but this is what I think (Though I doubt anyone cares, cause I wouldn't. )

Most of the people that complain about the mods here have probably been modded before for doing something stupid, which you deserve because you did something stupid. (Obviously it was against the rules, so you got modded for it) Now those people have a personal vendetta with the mods, and just talk about/use mod retro as a way to get back at the moderators? (I don't know, that is what it seems like to me)

(This isn't for all members. Some people like SS and thewise contribute here without trolling around, at least as far as I know)

And for the record, I am still semi-neutral. I am beginning to lean towards MR, but I think some of these problems need to be forgotten about and we all need to be a big happy family again.

Just because we are ignorant of the past does not mean it did not happen. When SS joined, he did many wrong things. Prior to his first project, he did many things we would refer to today as "trolling". Afro only joined recently, and you too. Also, I support the mods. Just because a small portion of the userbase disagrees with them, doesn't mean they are doing anything wrong. Usually, it is quite the contrary. The staff here has shown an enormous amount of forgiveness towards the users who've done things to get in trouble, perhaps you should forgive them for whatever it is they do to anger you?

I think the Mods were right to lock the previous threads, and they should do the same with this. Some may want to dicuss this, but it is not a good idea. Having this discussion over and over is what is separating the community. It is upsetting both sides. I have no idea why anyone would want to continue this discussion. If you do, then you are obviously blind to the effects it is having.

W need to stop this debate. We also need to stop bringing it up. If you don't put it behind you, you'll never get over it. Seriously.

But WHY does it have to be one forum over the other? Most of us had no part in any of this before we were told there was an issue and THEN everyone chose a side. It seems like there are only a handful of people that are trying to remain impartial. Ok, sure the mods here may not have acted as fast as everyone wanted them to or applied every suggestion made, but other than the issues raised by Bacteria and Palmer, people were complaining about not having different smilies. I just can't understand why people want to post in here and stir the pot more, especially towards the beginning of this thread where you had people just insulting people and running emotions high. This just seems futile unless people stop pinkling sides and allow people with genuine concerns to state them clearly and actually work them out without having people fuel the fire in between.
