1.) In Bacteria's Guide, it states that Heatsinks of 28 - 30mm size with a 4 - 6mm height should be used? Does anybody know where some of such size can be purchased?
2.) For all the "Pinning Out" what kind of wires should be used? (Ex. - Controller, Screen and Battery.)
*On a side note, what kind of battery would be good / last rather long?
I appreciate all those who put up with my newbishness, and I thank you for all help.

Re: Heatsinks / Wires
1 - radioshack, jaycar, local electronics store
2 - for the batteries you would want to use something a bit thicker but for everything else IDE cable works great, or if you are trying to build a smallish n64p try 30awg wire.
side note-
for a battery that lasts long you would want either a Li-poly or a li-ion, an n64 draws roughly 1.4 - 1.6 Amps and a led modded psone screen is about 400 - 600 (?) mA so a 2000 mAh battery will give you about an hours game play. so maybe 6000 or 8000 mAh if you want to use this thing in longer aeroplane/car trips.

Re: Heatsinks / Wires
Are there any recommend wires, specifically? And what do you mean by a little thicker? - Do they come in alternating sizes?
As for the battery, I see things about different voltages, and how 9v requires some extra work, does this come in to play as well?

Re: Heatsinks / Wires
i think its morw thn 9v where problems arise, but there are heaps of batteries that are 7.2v so why bother.
wires do come in different sizes, im guessing you could use round 22 awg for the power "stuff" and the rest around 28-30awg

Alright, I see you can purchase this stuff by the foot, what would be an ample amount?
I also have not been able to locate a cheap(ish) priced battery, of your listed standards.

Re: Heatsinks / Wires
I just bought 50 foot of 30 awg for $18 AUD shipped and that was an impulse buy:P the rest of the stuff I just had lying around the house, you'd need quite a bit of 30 awg/ ide cable if you wanted to relocate the cart slot, im guessing around 20 feet of each (30 awg and maybe 22 - 25 awg). its cheap and its great to have extra. as for batteries look around the trading post here and ebay.

Re: Heatsinks / Wires
Ace Hardware has a nice wire selection for pretty good prices. If you're looking for good cart slot wire use game controller wires or Parallel Port wires. They're great.
