Also, Diminuendo the whole artistry thing would be great if you could make a logo. I'll make some stuff on my computer and post it to see if you guys like it. Divinuendo could you also make some because from just that one comic picture it looks awesome...

Thanx!

P.S. capturing gameplay and some reviewing would be great but I don't think anyone should do anything too fast yet as this is still a work in progress.
Yep. I'll work on making it shorter.
I haven't been here in awhile, and looking back it's one of the worst ideas I ever had. I'm back and I'll be here for awhile, I was quite active 1 year ago and I hope to become that again.

i'd be interested with my uni course in games development perhaps i could write about the industry. or do work shops for people in simple game making tools . ect i also have an extensive library of c64 games i could review. I was pretty good with web making although its been 4 years since i last made one so i'm happy to help out there although i don't have time to run a full time site. I also have a large collection of art house and odd movies and game books as well. maybe i could make a game and work log everything on the site that is always an interesting read i find I don't know if any of that interests you.
HOLY FREAKIN MOTHER OF JESUS CHRIST! THAT CASE IS HUGE!

Perhaps you may buy a smaller one.

I use x10 hosting and PMWiki for my site.

I'd want to write a review or two every chance I get. It's best to have a reviewer's profile which details the reviewers interests and dislikes.

Youtube for the video host, Youtube partner for a little extra cash. ;)

Don't use Youtube video. Host the videos ON THE SITE. There's lots of good webhosts out there, some are very cheap.

The cool thing about youtube is that if you get partner then you can make a little extra cash that will help pay for the site and stuff.

I honestly don't know much about money in youtube so somebody would have to cue me in on that. I have decided, maybe, that our website name should be gamereviews.com, and I think the motto should be "For gamers, by gamers." Anyone agree?

I'll work on making a logo I'm not very good in gimp...

Thanx everyone!

Once i hack something i'll put it here. haha

I feel kind of useless now.

Did you even check to see if gamereviews.com was taken before suggesting it? It is already taken.

I'm not sure who told me that it was taken but I guess he/she made a careless mistake, but everybody makes mistakes! I guess we'll need a new name...

thanx!

Make a name that's either unique.

Second suggestion:

nocriticgamereviews.com

fgbg.com

for the gamers by the gamers

fbgbreviews.com

or that.

I can do a design for the site, with the images and stuff. shoot me up a PM with some details of what you want. I won't be able to start for a few days, but I'll do it.

Ok, heres a few quick sketches for logo ideas, they arn't great, but I'll claen the one we decide to use up
Image
anyone else with ideas can post sketches too.

as for the website name the rule is always under 10 letters.

and the youtube thing; using youtube could only be of benifit as the site starts out, we'd get cheaper monthly fees since it wouldn't be streaming off our site, and it leaves room for people to discover us while browsing youtube aswell. IGN and Kotaku host their own videos because they already have the audiance they need, so they make a few extra bucks by posting advertising with their videos, this may be a viable option in a couple of years if this takes off but for now youtube would be the best bet.

I like both those ideas but personally I enjoy both those names but I really want a name without abbreviations.

Thanx!

What does anyone else think?

How about "gameretrospect.com"?

Go for it! It's not taken. Our motto could be "By Gamers. For the Gamers"
