I think he's looking for a how-to on adding a PS2 controller port to his PSP. I hope he realizes that doing so will still not yield the second analog stick that everyone so desires for the PSP...

Hey, add a controller and use the TV out function - you will have de-portablized a system! Can we get a De-portablizer title? What about a De-portablizer Extraordinare? :P

a external ps2 controller has been done, FuFu did it with four mini usb plug connectors and another guy did it with some random 26 pin connector, both looked damned professional but their bloody hard, the PSP doesnt have much space to play around with which makes wiring a b*tch. and BTW both external ps2 controller mods I've seen to make use of the two ps2 analog sticks but the second one isn't a true analog stick, its actually just digital but it still feels/works great. If your look for an easier mod try modding your psp with a custom firmware, removing the UMD drive, and add an internal datel hard drive, or maybe external wifi adapter (for better range)

I have a PSP 1000 mobo plus heaps of other bits in my sale thread but it's in an unkown condition, plus it would be cheaper to hardwire a battery that to buy a new mobo

so the one of the pins on the mobo that connects to the battery has fallen out? if that is correct then all you need to do is take apart your battery and solder the three points on the battery to the corresponding points on the motherboard, make sure that you use short thin wire though otherwise it might be a cram fitting it in, but all should go well.

oh so have you broken the dc in plug on the psp or the ac adapter? if its the psp plug then its completely separate from the mobo so you can just buy a replacement part of that, alternatively you could do the usb charge mod so you can charge your psp with a computer

let me say this clearly
the pins sticking out that you plugin the dc in ARE BROKEN

now thats just confusing, maybe take a pic and circle what you mean with a big red marker on paint,

Basically I still dont get what your saying, so im gonna post the fix for the three possibilities

broken power port:
theres only one pin on the plug which you connect to the power adapter and if thats broken then you do the usb charge mod, or buy another plug.

broken pins from mobo which connect to the DC plug:
just hard wire it

broken pins meant for battery:
just hardwire the battery

If its something related to power apart from those three things then I don't know PSP's
