Yeah, the Wii really lost them the console wars...

It's obvious that it'll work with D,P,P so no ATB system, sorry palmertech

I doubt we'd get a 3D battle system but it would be possible for the battle to communicate with other DS's using WiFi the same way as D,P,P regardless of the animation on screen-s.

and like I said, stadiums models have always been great, if they dump those in and only make #252 onwards from scratch I don't think anyone would complain.

I could see the overworld system being identicle a D,P,P and have it shift to 3D for battles

(I'd also like to see emblems like mario kart DS)

The overworld is already 3D, it's just crappy 3D. The perspective change gave that away. In any case, expect a Gold/Silver remake based on D/P/P and nothing more (though possibly less).

I wouldn't be mad if there was ever a Pokemon killer released to be honest, and I mean something similar to blow the current behemoth completely out of the water. Something more grown-up and dynamic. I grew up with Pokemon, but Pokemon has yet to grow up enough for me.

There will never be a pokemon killer, and don't expect pokemon to grow up either. Pokemon has carved a niche in it's own market. Like most nintendo products nowadays, it's really designed for people with a 1-digit age.

I wish I would have stuck with the programming courses they offered in my high school. I only did a year and a half of it, stayed away from programming for like two years, came back and tried to program in C# with the *basic* edition of XNA studio to see if it was worth trying again and gave up after a week. If it had been easier I would have started making games. I've always got ideas for everything just no resources to realize the ideas. Is there a job where I can just sell ideas?

I think we all suffer the "I have so many ideas, but no way to get them out" feeling.

There was a "Pokemon Killer". Its name was "Team Rocket". They killed Marowak's mother :(

Every time I see a screenshot update without battle pics I get a little more excited for the possibilty of 3D battling

It probably ain't gonna happen. See earlier posts.

No doubt it would be sweet, but Nintendo just isn't as *tries and fails to find word* as they used to be.
