small update from yesterday, another to come tonight probably!

Remade the wedge of light, with 33ohm resistors and 4 leds instead of 8 unresistored ones. light output is still good and they wont burn out! 0805 SMD leds are hard to work with tho

also got the USB filtering circuit built! just need to wire up the hub and test it out.

THINGS LEFT TO DO
1. wire the headphone jack
2. build an s-video output dongle
3. reinstall the speakers (sorry tom, i dont have any that will fit!)
4. test the usb hub
5. get the LEDs installed for the WoL
6. finish the case and do prep for paint
7. ship out gp2x case for painting
8. ???
9. PROFIT

Bumpdate! first layer of fresh bondo and primer is on, only a couple more passes on that till i have the case done to my satisfaction and sent out for paint! pics tomorrow!

Im considering taking on a simplified version of this mod as a later comission AFTER i finish this one. it would be similar but lacking the extra features (wedge of light, usb hub, relocated headphone jack) if your interested drop me a PM with an offer
