He scammed a few people, here and on some Neo-Geo fan forums, that I know of. There are probably more.
Here is a PM I sent to ShockSlayer a while back to explain:
"It is a code.
Take " TASSIDGFBGFHIJNKGLPWNDWFAEKN64p"
Now, remove every other letter across the second row of the keyboard, ASDFGHJKL.
Now, you have "TSIGBFINGPWNDWFAEKN64p"
This translates to "This scammer is gonna be F'ing PWND with fake N64p".
Yup.
Still pulling strings, for two reasons: One, to keep his hopes up. Here is the thing: He will never disappear while he thinks he has an N64p on the way. Currently, he thinks it is Megabite making this, not me, palmertech. I have, however, insinuated that Megabites REAL account is having password trouble, so I borrowed this megabite from palmertech in the meanwhile, since palmertech is a buddy of megabite. Thus, I must ACTUALLY build a working N64p.
NOW! If he were to learn the N64p was completed, he would be compelled to give me an address to ship it to, correct? And megabite, being friends with palmertech, would find out that gamer1108 was the same scammer as before! How? Simple! HIS AIM NAME IS IN THE SCAMMER LIST!
Finding this out, megabite would contact gamer1108, the scammer, telling him that until he resolved his months dead matters with palmertech, by unblocking him on AIM and paying him back for his stuff, sent over 7 months ago.
Finding himself with no way to recover ANY losses, he would be forced to turn to palmertech. Palmertech would maneuver for repayment, of whatever he could get. Why would he be willing to take less than he agreed for, a long 7 months ago?
SIMPLE! palmertech would only do this if he had some other means of compensation! Where would this compensation be?

TAKE THAT!

I got the scammer to agree to make a live video stream of him opening his N64p when he finally got it to "prove it was working when you got it". I have made a cardboard N64p with one of those voice recorders, and a 20 second clip of "Never Gonna Give You Up". This is triggered by the foil switch in the box, so he would have seen a fake N64p, AND got rickrolled, all on live AND recorded film!
Unfortunately, when confronted with the fact he was the scammer, he first denied it, claiming it must be another guy with the same name and the same address.

When I proved that he was the scammer and demanded he pay back palmertech before getting his N64p, he just up and split. Cut his losses, I suppose.
Oh well, still a good effort, and maybe he will think twice next time!

In the meanwhile, I would not buy from/ship anything to Chicago, as that is where he is. PM me if you get any offers from that area, he has over 10 aliases, he could have made another one, too.
