well, it is called the eternal night

Worst game I love? hmmm, I kinda like the snes version of Jurrasic park, but nobody I know likes it. I don't know how the Atari games rank either, but I love 'em all.

Megaman Legends, I loved that game, even bought it twice (once for the N64, and again for the PS1). I don't get what the huge fuss was about :|

STUNT RACE FX!

Also, the Gamecube version of Crazy Taxi got horrible reviews, but it's my favorite game of all time.
If you're looking at this post and it was made before 2008, just ignore it.

"Double Switch" and "Sewer Shark" for the Sega CD come to mind. Call me crazy, but I love them; I think they're a lot of fun!

"Sonic the Hedgehog" for the PS3. For $20, it was pretty good.

The Saturn version of "Myst" was pretty poorly recieved, too, if I recall correctly.

I'm sure I've got more, but I need to look.

I like Dark Sector and Tomb Raider anniversary for PSP
I haven't been here in awhile, and looking back it's one of the worst ideas I ever had. I'm back and I'll be here for awhile, I was quite active 1 year ago and I hope to become that again.

I agree with Wolf, all of those lame FMV games on the Sega CD... terrible, but awesome.

Corpse Killer, Sewer Shark, NIGHT TRAP... all crappy classics.

"Night Trap" is the only one of the "terrible trio" I don't own; I should pick it up sometime. Perhaps I'll even get the 32XCD version for massive damage! Put my 32X to use, anyways.

the whole 32x lineup is boarderline on this topic; some games are just mediocre but I find it to still be pretty fun. With 36 games released I could easily run thru the entire lineup right here but I'll just post a few :P

Afterburner is good but I honestly don't remember any difference between this version and any of the other sega releases. Good pick up if you dont have any of the other ones or are a fan of the series.
Blackthorne people seem to like but I hated the controls. Good visuals in the levels so I'll give this one another go eventually haha
Cosmic Carnage playable robot fighter
Decent Doom port (prolly second best console version, Jaguar has #1)
Kolibri is a must own. Beautiful horizonal shooter, based on nature (you're a hummingbird). Excellent visuals
Knuckles Chaotix you'll either love it or hate it. Doesn't seem to be much middle ground here
Spiderman Web of Fire is definitely not worth the price tag. Stay away unless you find it at a cheap price (under $50 cart only, ~$100 complete) and I'm just suggesting that for re-sell.
T-Mek is a good robot/tank simulation game (like mechwarrior? if I remember correctly)
Tempo is worth it just for the 90's rap intro
Virtua Fighter is Virtua Fighter. Cant go wrong there.
Zaxxon is a pretty fun, isometric shooter

all the CD FMV games are so bad they are good. Any of the 32x video upgrade is minimal at best (I havent even noticed any).
I love the rasta guy in Corpse Killer. I dont have the bazooka gun they made for the genny but I bet that game is a blast with it.
Havent got past the intro movie to Supreme Warrior but that part warrants a playthru
Scotty Pippin Slam City is ridiculous, 4 cds (1 per each opponent) you press a button while youre on the court and you watch a basketball move

Yes yes. It was one of the three first games I got for the cube. :) Also, Sonic Adventure 1DX/2B on the cube were great, I have no idea why people complained.

Which one? The isometric Arcade game or the platform based Megadrive/Master System version?

Agree completely, I've played the Mega Drive, Master System, ZX Spectrum and Arcade Versions, my favourite being the Mega Drive version. The soundtrack is just brilliant, and the sound effects of MJ digitised are hilarious

Also, I really like the Driver games on PS2 (Driv3r, Parallel Lines) and they got pretty bad reviews just because they were "GTA Clones."

Also, I too thought Sonic for PS3 was pretty good.

Ugh, if Nintendo ever released that for Virtual Console, I think better than half the sales would be people that want to find out just how bad that game actually is.

Reminds me of RvB's "Forced Enjoyment" series...

I like ecco the dolphin: defender of the future for sega dreamcast. The bad reviews are bad because it is one of the hardest games ever. It is almost impossible to play some levels without a cheat booklet. It is an insanely great game, and a great looking one at that.
