playsixty-four: the retroish duo

Post by PureAwsomeness »

I couldn't figure out which portable i should make, psone or n64. so then i thought  "why not make both in one case?" so thats what i intend to do.

im thinking ill have th n64 'c' buttons be the playstation buttons and ill probably build it inside an original playstation.

1st question: will it work?
2nd question: how will the analog stick be wired (im probably using the ps analog)
3rd question: how the heck do u upload pics?? i have a design on my camera that i downloaded on the computer and i tried attaching the file three times already.
thx in advance

1. Sure! It'll need a bunch of switches, considerable effort, and it'll be a bit big, but of course it'll work!
2. With a switch I guess. You'll need a 3rd party N64 controller.
3. Use an imagehost and link it. I use filehive, which is simple, no-frills, no-ads, and works great.

This is probably the most unique idea I've seen in a while.

theres always the battery for the phillips pet1002 dvd player. that battery is 7.4volt and 7200mah. that would run the n64 like five hours, and the ps1 about 2.5, i think.

plus ive seen em on ebay for about <$35

N64 about 6 hours, PSone 4.8, assuming an LED modded screen.

That switch is gonna be a problem. You need to find a switch with a lot of poles or build one Bacteria style.

Nope. You have to switch the analog stick (I think) and possibly the button com line.
