OK, this is just silly.

I just found a listing for some DDR3 RAM that, honest to [deity], says "with blue blinky lights".

No, not in my local classifieds. No, not even on CraigsList.

It's on NewEgg.

Yes, mother[loving] NEWEGG has "blue blinky lights" listed as a feature for a RAM set.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6820148250

I don't know whether to Image or. Image

That one doesn't look like a loaf of bread, does it Spongey? :P

At least someone with a sense of humor went along with it.
Pros: This set of ram comes complete with blue blinky lights, which sets it apart from other ram, because of the increased performance offered by blue blinky lights. Blue light uses the improved 450–495 nm technology, while inferior red light uses the old 620–750 nm process. The fact that the lights can blink is also revolutionary, as this saves power, and emits less heat, which will increase your overclock potential.
Cons: Can cause epilepsy, and I highly recommend checking if any household pets suffer from it before buying this kit, as I do not believe that Crucial's warranty covers seziure induced pets.
Other Thoughts: Newegg shipping 5/5! will buy from again, as usual

Man, if I had known this earlier, I would've totally been all over it! I was helping a buddy upgrade his computer, and his new power supply has a matching blue-lit power supply.

It's not blinky, though, and I think that needs to be addressed posthaste.

I've seen one of those things on youtube before. I think they actually flash in a pattern. But yeah, pretty ridiculous and unnecessary.

I'm not sure Satanism is a religion. I'm pretty sure that's more of a philosophy. And how could you forget Scientology?

"Tib, video games are for kids. You need to grow up and get a real hobby."
"John, video games are paying my bills right now because this f*****g 'amazing career opportunity' you advised me to take sure as hell isn't doing it anymore."
"It's still immature and irresponsible of you, Tib. You need to grow up. What do your psychiatrists say about you getting faced and playing violent video games?"
"*snort* Well, how about I tell you what the one who was studying to be a priest said? Will that convince you?"
"Sure. What did he say?"
"Direct quote: 'Sounds like an excellent form of catharsis to me! Go for it!'"
"Well, that's still not right. You know better. Video games are immature."

Lol.. the best quote I ever had about video games was this "Video games are lame. How many times are you gonna get laid playing them? None."

I seen an ad in a paper for a Dual Core Processor at 5.6ghz... I think he meant it was actually a 2.3ghz. oh dear.
