Thanks guys,

the Memory card slot is mounted.i have placed all elements of the screen and the psone mobo in the front and it's not really thick , less than 30mm (without cdrom reader).

oh, wow. I didn't see this. You're making some excellent progress. And the design is pretty nice on the front. Keep it up.

CD mechanism is quite thick though, about 20mm or so. I presume you are going to integrate it so you don't have a spinning disk sticking out the back?

Yes about 20mm, I prefer that the CD is protected, I will integrate the player in the housing system,There may be no cover but the CD will be surrounded on the sides.

Have you thought about making a backing plate, secured to the back with magnets (as I did) or a hinge/catch?

Yes for sure but i hesitate to do a cover or not, and i saw your system with magnet, it's a good idea and another way is to use original cover of the psone.

Hi, new update, the front of the box is ready to be painted, all holes was made (head phone, external power input, switch on/off, brigthness, contrast and volume.Tomorrow i paint with primer and after with black gloss.

One thing to consider - if you rest your system on your lap whilst playing the system (as is quite normal), you will probably press your on/off switch by accident or rub the volume or contrast dials by mistake. Having these on the top of the system would stop this eventuality!

Hi, i can't put them on the top because there is no place for, for switch on/off, i will take care to not push on it by mistake and for the volume and others switch, they are protected by memory card.

I have placed headphone plug, external power supply plug and contrast/brightness/sound

that's hott. frakencasing the cd lid is a good move. I like it a lot.
