I play guitar, alto saxophone and very little piano. I would like to get in a band with some friends, but of course none of them play any instruments. :(

That one was hurried. I am not a vocalist, but I ended up doing the vocals since I wrote the lyrics. Everything was mixed down in Guitar rig and remixed to make the vocals sound more interesting. Additionally we had to add in a midi drum track since our drummer wasn't available. WE all agreed that it was an experience and we were not happy with the final product but submitted it to Ben with the hope that our efforts wouldn't be in vain. So nice he didn't right click delete. I wasn't sure where it was going to go and I had no clue on anything such as plot or mood so were just threw riffs together and I was surprised it ended up in a party scene.

I play the trombone in our school's marching band. We don't march, we just call ourselves that. I know how to play some guitar as well as the recorder! :)

I can lay keyboard and piano. I almost got in a metal band my friends were starting, but the band only stayed an idea and never got off the ground.

If any of you guys like Experimental Music you should definatly check out Collisional Beta Decay.

We take a bunch of loops from garageband, edit them a little, and just throw them together, maybe even add a few effects.

You don't get the joke. A recorder is a wind instrument, like a flute. But it also means recorder, obviously, like a tape recorder. Anyone can tape something and play it back.

I didn't get the joke because the recorder is such an easy instroment that just about anybody who picks one up can start to play something.

Yes, very true....I remember, back in the day...when we got our recorders for music class when I was little....Playing my own jazz/blues tune with it, when we were supposed to be playing hot crossed buns or whatever...I was totally rockin! Too bad the teacher didn't care for it, hahahah

ugh, elementary school music class was full of lame. And I had to sit there in a room full of no musical talent and play down to their level. As if the actual band wasn't bad enough.

I'm considering learning violin. It is such an awesome instrument.
@Tibia How hard is it to learn violin when you have no musical knowledge or experience?
