LED IN memeory card
I was wondering if I can put an LED in a ps1/2 memoery card so that when i connect the memory card, it lights up, or it lights up when in use.

Re: LED IN memeory card
Should be a simple matter of identifying the pin that draws power and connecting the LED to that... systems don't send power to the memory card unless it's reading/writing, right? I guess I don't know enough to answer the question.

I think you're on the right track, eagle. Nic, you would have to take a multimeter to the memory card port and see if you can find a pin that outputs power, and then I guess the next step would be to see if adding an LED to it would interfere with normal operation of the memory card, such as the LED + memory card combination drawing too much current.
