Help I'm new to computers and electronics?

Can anyone point someone who doesn't know much about computers or electronics for that matter in the direction of good books or movies to study up on the subject. Maybe a good intro to electronics textbook or something, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Ben's book on hacking systems into portables and electronics for dummies are two good books. Ben's explains things in ways we can understand and electronics for dummies has information that ben's book doesn't have

thank you i have also picked up Circuitbuilding for dummys hopefully that will help out. And one mor quick tid bit I have not been on a forum since 2002 so I'm a little rusty on etiquete and protocol... Protocol well its my primary function my first job was programming binary load... sorry lost track of what I was saying, So if responding to your own forum post is bad let me know.
