why does nintendo use such horrible screws?

Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

You do realize that 4/25 is a month from know, don't you?

Gannon, get the screwdrivers in stock. "Lik-Sang" is too much.

If anybody does buy from L-S, buy this one. Halo2Rules' link is for the cart screwdriver, IT IS TOO SMALL FOR THE SYSTEM!

The screw drivers would cost me way too much unless I get 10 of them right now. Shipping from China's expensive :'(

Good idea SW. Buying one for $9 is better than buying from L-S for $20.

OR you could just use some good needle nose pliers and for the one in the deep hole just cut out the surrounding plastic it took me about 10 minutes the first time i tried (last night)

the melted pen trick works great on some screws BUT...

the power supply screws wouldn't budge, ended up using a dremel cutoff disk to make the screw into a standard (-) screw

all but the one deep one on the bottom of the console were taken off with needle nose pliers, the pen worked perfect for the deep one (melt the hell outta the tip of the pen, jam down the hole like you wanna show it whos boss, then wait about 20 mins. (i walked the dog) before unscrewing)

the power supply and the jumper pack were the hardest screws, i used the cap of a cheapo bic pen to unscrew the small jumper pack screws, just melt the pocket clip and jam down inside the screw.
