Hey everyone im just a little confused. I am about to begin making a xbox laptop but currently i am gathering the tools and parts required. Also i am trying to layout how i want the laptop to look like and how to configure it.
i want to add a space so i can have a detachable hard drive just like the newer version of the xbox portable.
Now it could be my stupidity getting me due to my fatigue from wrestling, school, and just plain staying up late, but could someone please explain to me how to add that. i jsut need like a quick overview on how to implement that into the whole project.
Also with the memory card situation. if anyone could help with that too but thats not my main concern.
is there a how-to anywhere becuase the one ben has doesnt really help much.
any replies would be great
thanks everyone

Your best bet for the hard drive would probably be relocating the xbox 360 hard drive port on the motherboard to another section on the case with an area designated for the hard drive to go. Then just run extension wires from the motherboard to the port.
Same thing with the memory card slots, just relocate them by using extension wires and attaching the ports to the outside of your case.

or u could do what i did. Just open the hard drive case and pull out the hard drive and cable, and extend the cable in it with ribbon cable, that way no soldering has to be done to the mother board just the cable for the xbox 360 hard drive.
