Pcsxbox games what to look for Downloading?

Post by leo931 »

I install pscxbox on my Xbox and now what? I got a list of games from a helpful member but I don't know what to download, I don't know what will work. I downloaded some Psx games from other sites and only 3 worked. I have Pcsxbox v18 if that matter? And just asking is there anyway to make Medievil 2 show better? It works but the levels have glitchs in them. So if anybody can help me understand please let me know! :?:

Around where I live they don't sell ps1 games anymore. That's why I'm trying to download them. Gamecrazy, Gamestop, Walmart, Pawn shops nothing.

I also tried emulating PSX games on an xbox, some games just don't like to work. I did figure out that almost all games worked on my PC emulator

PS: Why is this in the Playstation section? I can think of two places it should be rather than here......

You can easily buy PS1 games - e-bay or garage/car boot sales.

Knowing what Ps1 to download to pscxbox v18

Post by leo931 »

Ok!! This is not about buying Ps1 games, alright. I already said that where I live they don't sell ps1 games, I'm not making this up, Ok. I do know Bin. games that I have play better and quicker. How do I know they will work, When I download them? I know about the pscxbox list but don't get it, I downloaded a lot of games that don't work. Please don't just post comments just to post them. And I don't trust e-bay.

This is a site dedicated to portablizing and running original games on original, custom made or third party hardware. We are not interested in people who want to download and post about pirated software, which seems to be your area. PS1 games are very cheap to buy legitimately from the sources I mentioned; BTW I had bought and sold about 1,200 items on e-bay in total in the last two years or so and only had problems on two transactions, in both cases, got my money back. E-bay is fine and can be trusted, as much as anywhere else anyway - try it.

As to your comment "please don't just post comments just to post them" - drop the attitude buddy, this is a forum and you invited comments, and people have posted good advice - so live with it. BTW - might be old software and hard to get hold of but that isn't an excuse for piracy downloads.

Stop the Attitude... Buddy? Look just cause you thought the advice was useful don't mean it was. Your not interested, No excuse for piracy? Where did you think I learned all about FTP my Xbox and adding games, I give you a hint... (Benheck.com) The name say piracy all over it. But what I really don't get is how you can tell me to buy my own Ps1 games and turn around and show people how to make there own ps1 portables. It may not be piracy but you are breaking copyright laws, if Sony breaks open that bootleg Psp and see what's in sided you'll be right beside me in jail. But I got it, Wow. Why don't you start telling people to buy there own Psp and I start looking around for ps1 games again to buy. That way no one doing any pirating and no one breaking any copyright laws and best of all NO ONE A HYPOCRITE!!

Lolwut.
Did you just say that making portables violates copyright law?
Because that's seriously what it looks like you just said.

Also, I'm still not sure what you're asking.
You download ISOs, BIN files, etc, and you play them. That's. About. It.

Making portables is entirely legal (unless you mod chip them), in the same way as "pimping your ride" is entirely legal, or changing the CD player in your car.

Portables, like mine, use official hardware and not emulators, use official screens, official consoles and official controllers (or third party); also the games are originals too. It is all official hardware; there is nothing illegal remotely, just shows your ignorance in the subject; BTW a PSone portable is not a PSP

BTW - I work for the Police authorities. I know far far more than you about copyright infringement and laws than you do so I know what I am talking about...
