I was thinking that, too. You should take some good pictures of your portables and pick one to put there. Show off some of your work and all that.

Learn how to read guys - he said he's waiting to put the picture of his finished portable in the sig until he's revealed it.

Sweet sig + avvy! They match! :P I think it would be awesome to have the IntoPlay in that section, a good side view type thing, or a simple mugshot would be good too.

SS

EDIT: Speaking of which, I have been wanting to make my sig like LoB's, with all my portables in it, but I don't think there is enough room for all my abominations(no one else can call them that, cept triton): Maybe I should just focus on my better units, like my 6th N64p and my GCp. Oh, wait, my avvy covers that. Now what? I need a new sig. Is this blogging? Why am I writing about myself in bacteria's thread Well, I guess I just...*trails off*

Yup, the space on the right of my sig is there to show a couple of pics of the system (as a .gif), with system name and type underneath, and then as I make more systems, to add them to the .gif as a mini slide-show. At the moment the space is vacant for good reason.

SS - yes, change your sig to reflect your projects - you don't need to put them all in, just the ones you think are worthy of including.

Anyway, got two hours to do project work - off to oven for some vacuum forming, then to check they work fine still...

UPDATE - One of the molds (top case) is absolutely fine and made a great case from it today. The top of the case is the most important part of course as that is what you see mostly. The bottom case developed a slight dip along the top section and a crack on one of the sides. Fixed this with putting on a piece of cardboard on top and gluing in place, using some bondo for the edges and then re-sanding. Used an electric sander to get the top flat and smooth. Result seems to work fine, although it did take a fair bit of time to complete.

Out of time today. Didn't make as much progress as hoped, never mind.

Update: spent a few hours compiling my guide for my site, finished, although I need to upload piles of pics to the site and proof read the document before making the document complete; this will be done Monday (a few more hours work to complete). I will also get rid of some stuff on my site and replace some parts too.

Getting there! Still set for end of the week!

Ok, progress report:

Got my website nearly done, just need to make pics of the kit for my site in next day or so. The guide is fully on-line in the "Playstation 1" section (took me about 11 hours work to make this guide how I wanted it for my site and get it all up) - minus final pics of system, in case you are wondering. Will be up on Thursday.....

Made 12 case fronts today and a couple of backs; need to make more in next couple of days.

PM'ed stephen0205 as I am in a position to sell him the first case kit; up to him if he wants to progress, seems keen.

I expect launch to be Thursday sometime, with pics....

:D

Put more pics and video (uploading it now, will just take a few minutes to complete, as of this posting) on my website and also in the "News" section here, so please have a look and let me know what you think!
