So I started my own laptop (calling it the Xbox P60. P = portable) and I undrstand the whole idea but there are a few little details I don't understand.
1. How do you connect or convert the video and audio of the xbox 360 to a monitor?
2. When to place the dvd drive aside the motherboard not on top, how do you get the open/close button as well as the ring of light button to work?
Thats all I need to know at the moment.
Thanks you guys and Ben Heck. This forum rocks!

you get your audio and video from the xbox 360 output. it has all outputs for composite/component/vga and audio. as for the buttons, you can just buy any push button switch that has a momentary on and hook it up to the corresponding buttons on the motherboard. i am also making an xbox 360 laptop, however i have a problem that i cannot seem to fix. No. It is not unnecessary, he waited 2 days, and did not get an answer. It only makes since to bump it. It is not against the rules.PS: Don't bump threads. It's against the rules, and unnecessary on boards like these.

ok I see how i can do that now. but how do you hook up extra fans? Do you take the original 4 pin connector and like find something thatll make it have 4 4 pin connectors? kinda like an extention cord that gives you 3 outlets from one or do you wire all the fans together and connect it to the one on the board?
